Is it March 12th yet?

Another MLS season is almost here. EPL is pretty much winding down, same with UEFA. In about a week my beloved Portland Timbers will be hitting the pitch at Jeld Wen Field for the season opener. I know it's trendy in America to have a passionate dislike for soccer. I get it. It's a sport that we didn't invent (basketball), combine (football), or plain out steal (baseball). Plus, we haven't had a lot of success in international soccer. However, that is changing. MLS viewership on ESPN and Fox Soccer are both on the rise. I think with the MLS being broadcast on the new NBC Sports Network, we should see another increase in viewership. I can't wait. I want soccer to be successful here. We NEED it to be successful here. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. RCTID!
